For the giraffe's horns I painted two wooden pegs  and then glued them into the head. The mane for Gigi the  giraffe was  made from many loops of yarn sewn down the middle and then folded in half to make a thick fringe. The loops were then cut and trimmed to make a neat and thick mane.  I added different trims, buttons, and a mixture of different fabric prints for the clothes.  The pattern I used for the giraffe was Simplicity 7925.
