The mane for Zoey the zebra was made from many loops of yarn sewn down the middle and then folded in half to make a thick fringe. The loops were then cut and trimmed to make a neat and thick mane.
I could not find any fabric that I liked for the zebra's body so I made the zebra out of white felt and hand painted the stripes with black fabric paint. I added different trims, buttons, and a mixture of different fabric prints for the clothes. Simplicity pattern 7860 was used.

Elsa the elephant is made out of grey felt and her tuft of hair consists of a number of strips of grey felt sewn together. A little mouse was made to fit into the pocket of her apron and a variety of different fabric prints, buttons, and trims were used to make the clothes. I used Simplicity pattern 7925.

For the giraffe's horns I painted two wooden pegs and then glued them into the head. The mane for Gigi the giraffe was made from many loops of yarn sewn down the middle and then folded in half to make a thick fringe. The loops were then cut and trimmed to make a neat and thick mane. I added different trims, buttons, and a mixture of different fabric prints for the clothes. The pattern I used for the giraffe was Simplicity 7925.
